Step by Step
Delve into the brilliant and eccentric mind of Salvador Dalí at Dalí Paris, a permanent exhibition located in the legendary Parisian neighbourhood of Montmartre, where the artist lived and worked. This private collection is the largest in France dedicated to the Spanish surrealist, and offers a unique insight into his prolific artistic career.
You can see more than 300 pieces including sculptures, engravings, paintings, objects and even surrealist furniture. Many of these works represent recurring themes in the Dalinian universe: melting clocks, elongated figures, atomic science, alchemy, religion, literature and his obsession with time.
Dalí Paris also pays tribute to his facet as an illustrator, with series devoted to Alice in Wonderland, the Divine Comedy and the Bible. His visual interpretations of these great literary works are as surprising as they are poetic.
This experience is perfect whether you are passionate about surrealism or if you want to enjoy an original plan in Paris. The location in Montmartre makes it an excellent option to combine with a stroll through the artists' quarter.
