Step by Step

Embark on an unforgettable journey through the Tuscan countryside, where history, medieval architecture and wine are seamlessly intertwined. From the departure in Florence, a comfortable air-conditioned coach will take you through vineyard landscapes, rolling hills and picturesque historic villages.

The first stop will be in San Gimignano, a medieval village declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Famous for its impressive skyline of medieval towers, you'll have free time to wander its cobbled streets, visit museums, sample what many consider to be the best gelato in the world, or enjoy contemporary art in its galleries.

Afterwards, you'll enter the Chianti wine region, the heart and soul of Tuscan wine. At a traditional winery, you will visit the vineyards and facilities before enjoying a tasting of its best wines, including the renowned Chianti Classico with its iconic Gallo Nero symbol.

Afterwards, you will visit Siena, a medieval city with an incomparable architectural and cultural heritage. Although a guided tour of its cathedral is not included, you will have time to enter on your own if you wish. Stroll through its historic centre, the Piazza del Campo and discover its most emblematic corners.

Finally, you will make a stop in Monteriggioni, a small walled medieval jewel that seems to be frozen in time. Here you will have time to take photos, take a leisurely stroll or enjoy the views of the Tuscan countryside before returning to Florence.

I loved the rich history and beauty of the cities we visited, but the tour felt a bit rushed.
