This free tour invites you to discover Granada from another perspective: the one offered by the history that breathes outside the walls of the Alhambra. Over the course of two hours, you will discover some of the most important and lesser-known corners of the area surrounding the Nasrid monuments.

You will start the tour at the Fuente del Pimiento, next to the Washington Irving Hotel. From there, you will walk along the Paseo del Generalife and bordering the walls of the Alhambra, you will learn about the history of the Tower of the Seven Floors, a place full of mystery.

The route continues to the Church of Santa María de la Alhambra, built on the site of the former royal mosque, and the historic Taberna del Polinario, which is deeply rooted in local tradition. Your guide will share fascinating legends of the Andalusian past that shaped this area.

You will then pass through places like the Puerta de los Carros, the Puerta de la Justicia and enter the cool and enigmatic forest of the Alhambra, culminating in a spectacular view of the Torres Bermejas from the Puerta de las Granadas.
