Southampton is known for its deep maritime heritage, and this tour immerses you in one of its most powerful stories: the maiden voyage of the Titanic. Accompanied by an expert guide, you'll relive the events of April 1912 and meet the real people who were part of this tragedy.
The tour begins at Town Quay Pier, where the bustling port of Southampton today merges with the memory of the past. You'll walk along the historic city walls, discover the Mayflower memorial, and learn how Southampton has been the departure point for many legendary voyages.
One of the highlights of the tour is a stop outside The White Star Tavern, home to many of the Titanic's third-class passengers, and The Grapes, a pub steeped in stories and secrets relating to the shipwreck. Here you can enjoy a traditional atmosphere while listening to little-known anecdotes.
