Step by Step
Baltimore is not only known for its maritime history, but also for its vibrant food culture. This tour of the waterfront neighbourhood of Fells Point will allow you to combine the best of both worlds: discover the architecture and historical tales of the 18th century while sampling the region's most iconic dishes.
Your local guide will take you through this charming neighbourhood, once a hub of port and commercial activity, now transformed into one of the city's most vibrant and artistic areas. You'll walk along cobblestone streets, admire colonial buildings and learn how this place shaped part of Baltimore's history.
Throughout the tour you'll visit four carefully selected local restaurants, where you'll sample a variety of local dishes, from fresh seafood recipes to modern reinterpretations of Chesapeake Bay classics. Plus, you'll enjoy an included drink at a fifth location, with the option to purchase more if you wish.
The tour will also allow you to meet the owners of some of these small, family-owned businesses, adding authentic, up-close value to the experience. The small group size (maximum 15 people) guarantees personalised attention, perfect for visitors and locals alike who want to rediscover their city.
This is an ideal tour to enjoy as a couple, with friends or as a family. Don't forget to let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions, as menu changes must be communicated prior to the start of the tour.
