Alex, our guide, really gave us scenarios how daily life must have been for the Indians and missionaries.

Now part of the National Park Service the mission trail is a must see. Everything is so well done and easy to navigate. These places are still worshipping congregations so respect is certainly warranted. Many people were riding bicycles from spot to spot.

The tour if the four missions was very interesting. They presented the history each mission and the surrounding area. The parks service had done an outstanding job with these old missions.

I absolutely loved this tour. If you're into history, seeing UNESCO sites, and are interested in the culture of San Antonio, this is a must do tour. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and informative. Patient (we were often the last ones showing up to the bus because we wanted to see EVERYTHING), kind, and excellent. Throw in a little humor and this made for a great afternoon. ***Side note: We signed up for the 1:30 pm tour. They actually pick you up earlier (around 12:30), but Viator doesn't list that. If it weren't easier, your tour would be very truncated and short. Just be aware, the pick up is way earlier than what is listed if you have a time sensitive day.
