Step by Step

A classical music concert in Vienna's St. Peter's Church is the best thing to do if you want to experience the historical musical richness of the Austrian capital. In such a Catholic church, replete with frescoes, beautiful marble, lighting and baroque style, the feeling of being in the Golden Age of this musical genre is authentic.

The reproductions of internationally acclaimed and praised pieces you will hear belong to great geniuses of history such as Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Schubert and Bach. The duration of the activity will be approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.

St. Peter's Church is possibly one of the most attractive features of the Austrian capital, as well as the most photographed. As the oldest church in the city, the building dates back to the early Middle Ages, although nothing remains from that period and its current aesthetics date from the early 18th century.

Inside, you will be surprised to see the great baroque decorative load in several of its sections: contemplate the beautiful altar and the dome, the details of the frescoes everywhere, such as the Coronation of Our Lady, as well as the great organ. Meanwhile, the movements of the strings and the professionalism of the instrumentalists will bring you as close as possible to the original works of the geniuses of world music.

St. Peter's Church has a sublime architecture, surely made by an exceptional artist. I liked the concert very much, but I liked the church even more. It was like listening to a work of art inside another work of art!
