Join this walking tour through Vienna's Old Town and in small groups of around 25 people, discover the darkest days of Vienna's history. Together with a professional guide discover Hitler's relationship with the Austrian capital and visit the main monuments and historical landmarks.

Throughout this walking tour you will learn about the social and political climate of Vienna and how this influenced the mind of a young Hitler. You will walk through the very streets where Adolf Hitler walked and visit some of the Jewish buildings in the old town that survived the Holocaust. You'll also see historic sites such as Heroes' Square, where Hitler announced the annexation of Austria to the Third Reich in 1938.

Walk through these major monuments and landmarks of the wartime history together with your guide and discover the role of Adolf Hitler in Vienna and the history of the Viennese Jewish community.

With your guide and your group you will pass the iconic Albertina Square, where you will see the Memorial against War and Fascism, a monument meant to serve as a reminder of the darkest era in Austria's history. You will relive all the horrors of World War II, learn about the impact of 53 bomb attacks on the city and learn how Vienna was divided after the war.

You will also visit other historical monuments such as the Holocaust Memorial on Judanplatz, which pays tribute to the 65,000 Austrian Jews murdered during the Holocaust. During this tour, you will also see the memorial dedicated to the victims of the Gestapo on Morzinplatz. Here you will learn about the history of the former Hotel Metropole, which was destroyed during World War II after serving as the headquarters of the Viennese Gestapo.

In addition to all this, pass by the famous Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, a school that rejected Hitler on several occasions, and see the only synagogue that survived the Nazi regime .

    I do not understand very well the reasons why Adolf Hitler could think of creating such a massacre, although on the tour route they explained a little, I still do not fully understand his reasons.
