This exciting guided hiking tour takes you to explore the stunning natural beauty of Cape Verde in the Serra Malagueta region. Lasting approximately 8 hours, this adventure combines the exploration of beautiful landscapes with the opportunity to observe endemic species of plants and birds.
You will start the day with a pick-up from your hotel in Praia, from where you will head to the traditional Assomada market. Here, accompanied by an expert guide, you will experience the authenticity of the local culture before heading into the mountains of Serra Malagueta.
Once in the Serra Malagueta Natural Park, you will begin your hike through fertile landscapes, at an altitude of 850 metres above sea level. You will explore this important ecological environment and learn many interesting facts about the more than 124 species of plants and 19 species of birds that the park is home to.
After marvelling at the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, you will head to the beautiful beach of Tarrafal, known as the most beautiful beach on the island of Santiago. Here, you'll have time to swim and relax on the shore before enjoying a delicious lunch.
