Accompanied by a local guide, you will learn amazing details about the history of Atacama and important facts about its natural environment, while you get to know majestic places such as:
- Piedras Rojas: characterised by its reddish soil and eroded rock formations, creating an almost lunar-like landscape. Famous for their surreal beauty and geological singularity.
- Altiplanic Lagoons: beautiful bodies of water located in the high Andean plateau. Surrounded by steep mountains and volcanoes, they stand out for their blue waters and for being frequented by pink flamingos.
- Laguna Chaxa: a nature reserve in the Salar de Atacama, home to numerous flamingos. Known for its extensive salt landscapes that create natural mirrors during the rainy season. It is a reference place for bird watching.
And that's not all! You will also visit the Socaire Church, considered an architectural heritage site in the town of Socaire, and the San Lucas Bell Tower, which is a historic structure made of volcanic stone located in Toconao.
The tour is conducted in small groups of about 15 people, all in order to guarantee a more intimate, close and personalised experience. During the tour you will receive breakfast and lunch to recharge your batteries.
