Step by Step

Take in the beauty of Colombia's Eastern Hills on this horseback ride in Bogotá. This is an outdoor adventure where you'll soak up the culture of the capital for half a day.

A professional driver will pick you up from your accommodation in the city and take you to meet your expert riding guide. Together, you'll set off for Guadeloupe for the start of your journey.

After receiving instruction on how to control the horse, you will begin the calm and contemplative ride through the mountains, from where you will be able to appreciate a beautiful and wide variety of flora and fauna.

You will ride into the trails to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Bogotá, from a very privileged point at the top of Guadalupe, at an altitude of more than 3,000 metres above sea level, where an important Catholic church is also located.

Your horseback ride continues to the famous Monserrate hill. There, at its highest point, the beautiful Basilica Santuario del Señor Caído de Monserrate awaits you. This is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the region, known for its neo-colonial architecture.

After visiting Monserrate, you will take the cable car back to the old town area. There you' ll stroll through the La Candelaria neighbourhood, the oldest in the capital.

Among idyllic colonial houses and cobblestone streets, you will feel the essence of yesteryear characteristic of the area, surrounded by must-see places such as the Casa Museo Quinta de Bolívar, the Botero Museum and the Plaza de Bolívar.
