Medellín Horseback Ride

Horseback riding is an activity that is particularly suitable for lovers of outdoor activities. A few kilometres from Medellín you will find the wild nature of the Cordillera de los Andes, characterised by lush tropical vegetation. An experienced guide will accompany you along the trails of the area, covering a distance of about 10 kilometres.

In total, the activity lasts approximately 4 hours and includes pick-up and drop-off at the hotel. You can choose between Medellín's most famous neighbourhoods, such as El Poblado, Laureles and Envigado, or opt for a central meeting point.

This activity is adapted to the experience of each rider. Those who have never ridden before will get a docile horse, while those who know how to ride can choose an expert steed. During a horse ride, it is important to establish an empathic bond with the animal.

For trotting, it is important to wear long trousers and closed shoes, without wearing jewellery, shoes with laces and other objects that can get caught. In any case, the guide will give you some useful advice before setting off.
