Set off from San José and experience a totally natural environment in the Tortuguero National Park with this excursion where the entrance fee is included. The distance between the two places is about 110 km, which will not be a problem, as the return journey in an air-conditioned vehicle is included.
Pick-up and drop-off directly at your hotel is also available, but depends on the location of your hotel. This service is possible if you are staying in downtown San José, downtown Heredia or downtown Alajuela.
Because the tour is a 1 day tour, 12 hours in total, breakfast and lunch are included so you don't have to worry about food at any time. During all this time you will always be accompanied by a tour guide, so you won't miss any detail of the great variety of biodiversity in the park.
Inside Tortuguero you will walk along different trails, but a boat ride through the canals is also included. The park covers an area of 29,000 hectares and is home to all kinds of animals.
