Step by Step

Join this unforgettable private day trip from Cairo to Abu Simbel and see two of the most impressive temples of ancient Egypt. After a comfortable transfer from your hotel to the airport, you will take a flight to Abu Simbel, located on the western shore of Lake Nasser. In this case, you can choose between an economy or business class ticket. You can also book the tour without a flight and arrive at the destination on your own.

Once at Abu Simbel, you will be met by your expert guide, who will take you to explore the two main temples. The first of these is the Temple of Ramesses II, also known as the Great Temple of Abu Simbel. This majestic structure, carved into the rock, was built by Ramses II to commemorate his victory at the Battle of Kadesh. Inside, you can admire the impressive statues of Ramses II and learn about the history and myths of ancient Egypt.

The second temple is the Temple of Nefertari, dedicated to the great royal wife of Ramesses II. This temple is known for its impressive reliefs and beautiful columns decorated with figures of Queen Nefertari. Like the Temple of Ramesses II, the Temple of Nefertari was also carved into the rock and is located just a few metres away.

After exploring the temples, you will have free time to enjoy the breathtaking views of Lake Nasser and take pictures. To make sure you don't have to worry about anything, the tour also includes lunch at a local restaurant.

Afterwards, you will return to the airport for your flight back to Cairo, where a transfer will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
