- Reichstag: is the German parliament and served as the seat of several German governments between 1849 and 1944.
- Brandenburg Gate: completed in 1791, it is one of the main symbols of the city. It served as the entrance to the New Berlin of the time.
- Checkpoint Charlie: was one of the main border checkpoints of the Berlin Wall during the Cold War.
- Holocaust Memorial: a large architectural construction in memory of the murdered Jews of Europe with 2,711 concrete blocks.
