In this activity you will have the opportunity, for about 9 hours, to travel from Jerusalem to Masada and the Dead Sea. You will be accompanied by an expert guide, together with whom you will discover the culture and history of the main sites of the tour.
You will start by driving through the Judean desert and pass by the place where the famous parable of the Good Samaritan took place. As you tour and observe the desert landscapes, you will also learn about the importance of the desert to Israel and the Judean region.
At Masada you will have the opportunity to ascend to the top of the city by cable car and visit the legendary ruins of the palaces of Herod, King of Judea during the time of Christ, where you will learn about the tragic end of their destruction.
After your guided tour of Masada, you will continue to the Dead Sea, where you can swim and enjoy the surreal experience of floating in its famous salt-rich waters . If you wish, you can also take a therapeutic mud bath .
