Step by Step
With this Ghiberti Pass you can explore at your own pace all the main spaces that make up the monumental complex of the Duomo of Florence, one of the most emblematic architectural complexes in Italy and the world.
The ticket includes access to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, a masterpiece of Italian Gothic architecture with its imposing dome designed by Brunelleschi. Although entry to the cathedral is free, this pass allows you to discover other normally restricted areas.
You will visit the Baptistery of San Giovanni, one of the oldest buildings in Florence, famous for its golden mosaic ceiling and the famous Gates of Paradise designed by Ghiberti, which give this pass its name.
You can also visit the Crypt of Santa Reparata, located under the cathedral, where the remains of an ancient early Christian basilica and historical tombs are still preserved.
The tour is completed at the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo, which houses original sculptures and works by artists such as Michelangelo, Donatello and Ghiberti. Here you'll get a close-up look at pieces that were originally part of the cathedral and baptistery, including models and reconstructions.
This pass does not include a visit to Brunelleschi's dome or Giotto's bell tower, but it offers a complete cultural and artistic experience in the heart of the Renaissance.
