Step by Step
Once you've visited the white and gold buildings that characterise the city, it's time to get to know another of its facets in this gastronomic experience with lunch or dinner in Lecce. You will spend approximately 3 hours in the company of an Apulian family to feel like a local.
A local Cesarina will invite you to her home and prepare for you the most delicious family recipes. The experience will start with a delicious Italian aperitif which you can enjoy while watching a live cooking demonstration. The local hostess will be preparing a full 4-course menu which you will have the opportunity to taste later on. This menu includes a starter, pasta, main course with side dish, dessert and drink.
It will be an exceptional opportunity to explore in depth the culinary tradition that celebrates simplicity, freshness and seasonal ingredients. You can indulge in dishes such as baked ricotta and tomato orecchiette; "fracaja", a mixture of small fried fish; or "pizzi leccesi", small breads stuffed with black olives, cherry tomatoes and onions.
