In Sorrento, the highlight is the Santuario della Madonna del Carmine, a 16th century church built on the site where the first Christian martyrs are supposed to have been killed . The church is located next to Piazza Tasso, the town's central square, known for the charm of the terraces and buildings that surround it.
In Positano, you can visit the church of Santa Maria dell'Assunta, whose origins date back to the 10th century . The picturesque church, located near the town's coastline, offers spectacular views of the Amalfi Coast and Positano's cliffs. In the Piazza dei Mulini, you will find a multitude of shops of all kinds, as well as modern clothing boutiques, specialising in bespoke designs.
In Amalfi, you can admire the Cathedral of St. Andrew the Apostle, located in Piazza del Duomo. The cathedral was built in the 9th century and contains treasures from ancient Constantinople that were brought to the city in the 13th century. Although the architectural style of the sanctuary is Arab-Norman, there are also traces of Byzantine, Gothic and Baroque art .
