Take a stroll through the Caffarella Park on an urban walk that invites you to discover one of Rome's best kept secrets. This oasis of tranquillity, located in the heart of the city, is a space where nature and history intertwine in harmony. Over the course of approximately 3 hours, an expert guide will lead you along the park's trails, sharing stories about the rich fauna and flora that inhabit its 132 hectares, as well as the historical and cultural importance of each place you will visit.
During the tour, you'll also pass places such as the Parco Acquatico Point, once essential to the water systems of ancient Rome, and La Fattoria degli Animali, a small farm that adds a charming rural touch to the journey. Other highlights include the Ninfeo di Egeria, a historic sanctuary dedicated to the goddess of waters, and the Bosco Sacro, a sacred forest where nature is shown in its purest form.
Finally, you will reach the Laghetto Verde, a small lake that offers a moment of tranquillity ideal for relaxation, and you will conclude the walk at the Casale Della Vaccareccia, a rural construction that closes this experience with a harmonious blend of history and nature.
This walk offers you the opportunity to discover a different side of Rome, away from the tourist hustle and bustle, and to enjoy the city from a quieter and more contemplative perspective, in the company of a small group of up to 12 people.
