Step by Step
These tickets for the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill and Mamertina Prison are the perfect opportunity to make the most of your time in the city. In just one day, you can access these four iconic tourist attractions and explore them at your own pace.
It's up to you to organise your visits and choose how much time you want to spend at each of these places. Just keep in mind that the time slot chosen in your booking is for the Mamertina Prison and the time slot for the Colosseum will be approximately 1.5 hours later. Also, once activated, the ticket is valid for 24 hours, so you will have enough time to enjoy the visits on your own.
At the Mamertina Prison you will receive a video guide, which will accompany you throughout the tour and provide commentary as you go. It is an ideal way to get to know and explore in depth a prison that once housed defeated emperors and kings, as well as the saints Peter and Paul.
Inside you will discover the stories of the prisoners who served their sentences there, including the pool of water used by Saint Peter to baptise visitors. This prison, in the basement of the church of San Giuseppe dei Falegnami, will not leave you indifferent.
Once you have finished visiting the prison, it will be time to head to the Colosseum, where you will be able to enter with priority access without having to wait in line. Afterwards, visit the Roman Forum and the Palentine Hill at your own pace and immerse yourself in the history of Rome at your own pace.
