This 5-day tour from Rome is a unique opportunity to explore the highlights of Italy. It begins with a visit to the hilltop city of Assisi, where you will have the opportunity to explore the Basilica of St. Francis and begin to immerse yourself in Italy's rich history and culture.
The tour continues in the Tuscany region, one of the most enchanting areas of the country. In Siena you will discover the impressive Piazza del Campo. In Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, you will explore architectural and artistic masterpieces, such as the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the Piazza della Signoria, which played a crucial role in the city's political history.
There will also be time to visit Bologna, Padua and, finally, Venice. In Bologna, you cannot miss the Piazza Maggiore and Basilica of San Petronio, while in Padua, the Basilica of Sant'Antonio will be one of the mandatory stops. The last destination is Venice, where Piazza San Marco will welcome you with its bell tower and St. Mark's Basilica. You will also cross the famous Bridge of Sighs and learn about its intriguing history.
