Step by Step
Did you know that Pompeii is one of the best preserved cities of Ancient Rome? Buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, it offers a unique window into the past, with streets, houses and frescoes that seem frozen in time. Strolling through its ruins is like travelling in a time machine, where every corner has a story to tell. And that's not all! Depending on the season, you can complete the excursion either by climbing the imposing Mount Vesuvius or by visiting the beautiful town of Positano.
Ready to discover one of Italy's most impressive archaeological treasures? Welcome to Pompeii. Your adventure begins in Rome, from where you will travel comfortably in an air-conditioned coach to this UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001. An expert archaeological guide will accompany you all the way so that you don't miss a single detail.
In this city buried by ash and rediscovered in the 16th century, you will be able to walk among the buildings where its inhabitants lived and see the bodies petrified by the eruption of the volcano. An experience that will leave you speechless!
After exploring the ruins of Pompeii, depending on the time of year, you will have the opportunity to visit two iconic sites in southern Italy:
- From March to November: You can climb to the top of Mount Vesuvius, the volcano whose eruption in 79 buried several towns in the region. And don't worry about lunch, it's included! Enjoy typical dishes such as delicious pizza while you enjoy your day.
- From November to March: When the access to Mount Vesuvius is closed, you will have free time to explore the charming town of Positano, with its streets full of Mediterranean charm. Lunch is not included, but in Positano you will find plenty of restaurants and shops to sample the local gastronomic delights.
Get ready for an adventure that will take you through time and leave you in awe with every step!
