Step by Step

This Vespa tour departs from Siena and takes place in nearby Chianti, a region of Tuscany known for its wine and the beauty of its landscape. The tour includes a helmet and an expert guide who will lead the group for approximately 7 hours.

Chianti is synonymous with rolling hills, vineyards and the typical cypress trees lining the roads. The area straddles the provinces of Florence, Siena and Arezzo and is dotted with beautifully preserved medieval villages. The route follows provincial and secondary roads that allow for a leisurely drive while taking in the scenery.

Lunch is included in a restaurant that will give you the opportunity to sample local specialities. In addition to world-famous red wines, Chianti is known for its olive oil (yellow-green with a fruity aroma) and bardiccio (a sausage flavoured with wild fennel and garlic), as well as typical Tuscan gastronomic dishes.

There will also be a stop at two wineries, where you will discover the wine tradition of the region. The most popular variety is Chianti Classico DOP, with a ruby red colour and aromas of berries, cinnamon and liquorice. Aged in oak barrels, it is perfect with meat dishes.

It is not compulsory to drive the Vespa. People who are not familiar with the vehicle can take part as passengers. Just select the desired option when booking.
