Step by Step

This cooking class takes place at the home of an experienced cook from Verona, who opens the doors of his house to small groups of food lovers. It lasts approximately 3 hours and includes a welcome drink, wine, water and coffee. Together with the local chef, you will create a three-course menu that opens with a traditional appetizer: a bruschetta with mozzarella and anchovies, where the taste of the anchovies contrasts with the sweetness of the cheese.

The experience continues with the preparation of ravioli, a fresh pasta filled with ricotta and spinach. Thanks to the eggs in the dough, the fresh pasta has a more intense flavour and its porous texture allows it to better retain the sauces. Finally, you will learn how to prepare the star dessert of the transalpine country: tiramisù. This sweet was born in the Verona region in the 1970s.

This menu is suitable for vegetarians. The experience includes wine, water and coffee and can be done at any time of the year. It is a great idea for food lovers, those travelling alone or with the family.

The experience of learning how to make pasta and tiramisu was unique and a lot of fun, but it would be ideal if the group was a bit smaller for a more personalised attention.
