Step by Step
Explore the natural and architectural beauties of Jamaica's second largest city on this three-hour tour of Montego Bay and Rose Hall Haunted House.
The tour will begin with a driver pick-up at your accommodation. From there, you'll embark on a tropical adventure along the coastline, where you'll see the flora and fauna typical of the region.
An expert guide will accompany you on the journey, providing you with essential facts about the rich history of this tourist destination. Together you'll head out to discover the magical places on your way to the centre of "Mobay", as it's known to the locals.
You'll pass sites such as the legendary Sam Sharpe Square, named after the anti-slavery hero; the Montego Bay Cultural Centre and Saint James Parish Church, cultural gems of the historic centre.
You'll see impressive neighbourhoods of monumental colonial homes, reflecting the luxurious life of the upper class, mostly from Europe, in the residential areas of the Caribbean islands.
Among these mansions, you'll visit the most popular of them all: Rose Hall Great House. Behind its imposing Georgian façade lies a curious 18th-century horror story of the White Witch, Annee Palmer.
According to legend, Palmer is said to have murdered her three husbands in a plot of violence and forbidden love affairs with slaves, which also ended up costing her her own life.
You'll tour the beautiful gardens here, which are also part of a spectacular golf course in the area. You'll get breathtaking views of the island and the sea in the background.
