Malacca is the unofficial historical capital of Malaysia and has served as a link between East and West for over 500 years. It was here that colonial forces first came into contact with Malaysia, eventually giving the country its current economic and political system.

Now you will see how Malacca has developed into a beautiful city filled with heritage buildings, ancient monuments and colonial structures. Traces of British, Dutch and Portuguese forces can still be seen in forts, museums, churches and towers.

For example, you will have the opportunity to visit these points of interest:

  • Cheng Hoon Teng Temple: it was founded in the Dutch Malacca era by the Chinese kaptains Tay Kie Ki Tay Hong Yong Tay Hong Yong in 1645. It means Temple of the Clear Clouds and its general architecture - the curved roof, gabled design, etc. - is said to be influenced by the craftsmanship of Guangdong and Fujian in southern China.
  • St Paul's Hill and Church: is a historic building built in 1521, making it the oldest church in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. It is located at the top of St. Paul's Hill.

An incredible place, the time flew by. Everything was perfect except that the heat was almost unbearable so I would recommend bringing a change of clothes to live a unique experience.

It was great, we were able to see a lot without having a heat stroke due to the incredible sun outside the bus. The driver was very professional and took us to our destination without any problems along the way.
