This tour gives you the opportunity to visit the famous "Three Cities" of Cospicua, Vittoriosa and Senglea, as well as enjoy a wine tasting at a local winery. Lasting approximately 4 hours, this experience will allow you to explore and savour the best of the region.
You'll begin your adventure by exploring the winding streets and historic monuments that surround these three charming towns. Accompanied by an expert guide, you will learn about Malta's past as you admire its architecture and landmarks. You will also learn interesting facts about each of the towns:
- Cospicua: also called Bormla, it is known for its rich maritime history and baroque architecture. The Saint Angelo fort, built in the past to prevent the invasion of pirates and foreign powers to the island, stands out.
- Vittoriosa: known as Birgu, it is famous for its impressive medieval and maritime architecture. It is the place where the Knights of St John established their base in Malta . Its narrow cobbled streets and squares evoke a unique historical atmosphere that will transport you back in time.
- Senglea: also called Island, is famous for its strategic position in the harbour. It offers panoramic views and is a lovely place to stroll around.
