Step by Step
Throughout this 3 day private tour of the Merzouga desert you will enjoy learning all about the local culture and experiencing the traditions of the area. During this tour you will be fully accommodated with transfers, dinners and breakfasts included and accommodation already arranged in private tents in the middle of the desert.
During your trip you will be able to visit a nomadic Berber family and learn all about them while sharing a traditional tea or listening to them practising drum songs over dinner. You'll also have the opportunity to take a 4x4 and camel trek through the dunes, and even try sandboarding across the desert's sand seas.
You will travel to different villages such as Khamlia, a small village in the area where you will learn all about their traditional way of life or their history as immigrants and how they started out as slaves.
Throughout the days you will be able to get up early to admire the sunrises reflecting on the desert sand and enjoy tasting traditional dishes while having breakfast at your camp. You will also be able to admire different panoramic views where you will be able to take all kinds of photographs to remember.
