- Namche Bazaar: capital of the Sherpa community. It is a village known as the gateway to Everest where mountaineers shop and trade to start the activity.
- Tengboche Monastery: one of the largest monasteries in the Himalayan region. Surrounded by impressive mountains and is a centre for Tibetan Buddhist study and practice.
- Dingboche: is a popular village for hikers and climbers seeking to acclimatise to the altitude in order to continue their ascent. It offers panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam, and other major peaks.
- Everest Base Camp: located at an altitude of 5,364 metres, it serves as a starting point for trekkers wishing to reach the summit of Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world.
