Step by Step
Embark on a speedboat ride over the stunning Huka Falls in Taupo. This adventure will take you across the Waikato River, where you can enjoy spectacular views of the falls and feel the thrill of speed as you glide across the water.
The tour starts in Taupo and will take you on an approximately 30 minute adrenaline-filled journey. As you approach Huka Falls, you can feel the force of the water and the energy released as you plunge from a height of 11 metres. The speedboat will take you right to the foot of the falls, giving you a breathtaking view and a unique experience.
During the tour, the expert instructor will provide you with interesting information about the history and geology of the area, as well as the flora and fauna that inhabit it. You will learn about the importance of the Waikato River and its role in the generation of hydroelectric power.
