Step by Step

Immerse yourself in Peruvian culture through its flavours with this cooking class in the heart of Cusco. The experience begins with a guided tour of a local market, where you will learn about the typical products of the region and learn to recognise the key ingredients of Peruvian cuisine. The chef will explain the use of fruits, vegetables, herbs and other local products while you buy what you need for the class.

After the market tour, you will head to the kitchen where the practical part will begin. Guided by the chef, you will prepare some of Peru's most traditional dishes. Among the most outstanding recipes are ceviche (with fresh fish and lime juice), lomo saltado (meat sautéed with vegetables in the Creole style) or causa limeña. You will also learn how to prepare the famous Peruvian cocktail: the pisco sour.

No previous cooking experience is necessary, as the chef will guide you step by step. In addition, the group is small, so you will receive personalised attention at all times.

Once you've finished cooking, you can sit back and enjoy the dishes you've prepared. It's an excellent opportunity to savour your work, chat with other participants and learn more about Peru's culinary culture.

This class is not just a gastronomic activity, but a fun and different way to connect with local life in Cusco and take home a very tasty part of the trip.
