Lima Sandboarding Experience

Explore a whole desert of dunes with this small group sandboarding experience in Lima . Join this approximately 6 hour excursion in small groups of about 8 people on board a 4x4 vehicle that will pick you up from your hotel. Enjoy a fun ride through the desert with an instructor and then put on your professional equipment to surf the big sand mountains.

On top of all this, you can also choose between a morning or afternoon departure . Choose the time that suits you best and start this exciting dune sport adventure.

After a comfortable pick-up at your hotel, you will travel south for an hour until you reach the Chilca desert. Upon arrival at your destination you will meet an experienced sandboarding instructor and receive a short briefing on what you will be doing for the next 4 hours. After the briefing, you will receive all the equipment with boards, helmet, bindings and boots to start the activity in complete safety.

From the vehicle you will enter the desert and start the dune expedition. After a short tour you will stop at the best spots for sandboarding. Start this adventure first on the small dunes and once you are ready, pick up speed as you slide down the huge sand mountains of Chilca .

Feel the adrenaline rush as you travel over impressive dunes up to 10 metres high and challenge your friends in a race over the biggest sand mountains.

After a couple of hours enjoy a couple of snacks and return to the 4x4, you will follow the route back to Lima. Along the way you will make a brief stop to drop off your equipment and you will be able to see photos and videos of the tour taken by your guide.
