Step by Step
This half day tour will take you to discover the natural beauty of the island of Faial, in particular the stunning Caldeira do Faial.
Your adventure will begin in the town of Horta, where you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle where you will meet your expert guide. From there, you will head to a scenic trail that will take you deep into the caldera.
During the hike, you will enjoy panoramic views of the island and the Atlantic Ocean. You will be able to admire the lush vegetation and the diversity of local flora and fauna. Your guide will provide you with interesting information about the history and geology of the caldera, as well as the wildlife that inhabits this protected area.
