On this tour you will tour the beautiful city of Porto, sail along the Douro River and participate in a Portuguese wine tasting, accompanied by a lunch of traditional Portuguese food . The duration of the activity will be about 9 hours, during which you will be accompanied by an expert guide, who will share with you many interesting facts about the history, culture and gastronomy of Porto.
You will be able to visit some of the main monuments of the city, including the Cathedral and the Clérigos Tower. The cathedral is known for being one of the main exponents of Romanesque architecture in the city, as well as for being one of the oldest buildings in Porto, as its construction dates back to 1100 .
The Clérigos Tower, meanwhile, is an iconic Baroque structure whose construction dates back to 1754. It is 76 metres high and you can climb to the top of its bell tower, from where you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views.
Another stop you can make is at the Lello Bookshop, known for being one of the oldest and most beautiful in the world, before heading to the winery where you will do the wine tasting. Here you' ll learn about the wine-making process and enjoy two tastings of Port wine.
You will complete the experience with a delicious traditional lunch in Ribeira, where you can savour authentic Portuguese flavours. Afterwards, you'll board a traditional Rabelo boat and sail along the Douro River, where you'll be able to see Porto from a completely different perspective.
