Step by Step
On this private tour you will be taken on a vineyard safari in Hermanus. At the Benguela Cove Wine Estate, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the wine culture of the region and enjoy the scenery. Once you meet your guide you will head to the winery, where you will enjoy panoramic views of the vineyards and mountains surrounding Hermanus.
During the approximately one hour tour, you will learn about the winemaking process, from the grape harvest to fermentation and cultivation techniques. You will also have the opportunity to taste a selection of 5 high quality wines and learn tasting techniques from your expert guide. In addition, young children accompanying you on the tour will be given a selection of juices to refresh themselves.
At the end of the tour you can enjoy the facilities if you wish to stay for lunch or dinner inside the winery.
