The most entertaining and busiest time of the year for many Spanish cities is summer. The temperatures in Benidorm in August are something quite predictable of the city, and is that the heat is what characterizes the environment. The maximum temperature usually hovers around 31 or 32 °C while the minimum does not usually fall below 26 or 27°C.

The tourist affluence in Benidorm is the highest of the whole year and for this reason you can expect significant queues and waits. The only exception to this rule could be the beach services, as the number of merchants is large enough that this is not a problem.

Being the month with the highest number of visitors of the year it is logical that prices in Benidorm during the month of August are a bit high due to the high demand for accommodation and tourist services. Sunscreen and comfortable, breathable clothing are basic items you can't miss in your suitcase if you plan to visit Benidorm in August. Depending on the type of activities you intend to enjoy it might be advisable to bring a couple of stylish clothes, but it is important to keep them comfortable if it is a hot environment.
