Fuerteventura Surf Lesson

This is a private experience and can be adapted to the needs of each individual. Just indicate your level and the expert instructor will prepare the lesson according to your specifications. It lasts around 3 hours and includes board and wetsuit rental. The meeting point is the tourist resort of Corralejo.

To ensure the best possible activity, the instructor will not only give you tips based on personal experience, but will also show you videos of professionals to help you perfect your technique. Being aimed at everyone, it includes both soft board lessons (for beginners) and short board lessons (for more experienced surfers).

This activity has a peculiar characteristic, the instructor will choose the most suitable place depending on the number of people and the sea conditions. In Corralejo there are different places to ride the waves:

• El Bristol - The favourite spot of the locals. It is located next to the windmills near the town.
• Punta Elena - A very popular choice. Interested in both small waves and larger waves that break far offshore. It is also known as Rocky Point and can be easily reached on foot.
• El Generoso - For the more experienced surfer. Located less than 2km from the town.
• Majanicho Beach - Characterised by easy and fun waves. Generally chosen at high tide.
• El Muelle - Very close to the port of Corralejo. In this case, it is preferable to go at low tide.

In Fuerteventura you can surf at any time of the year. In any case, it is advisable to protect yourself from the sun with sun cream and wear beach booties to avoid cutting your feet on the rocks.
