Step by Step

When you buy tickets for the Madrid tourist bus you can discover the wonders of the Spanish capital with more than 20 free and unlimited stops, hopping on and off at the places you've always wanted to see.

When booking the tourist bus you will have two options:

  • Ticket valid for 24 hours
  • Ticket valid for 48 hours

In both cases, the validity period starts to run from the time of activation with the first use of the bus. In other words, if, for example, you start using the bus at 13:00 on a Monday, this ticket will be valid until 13:00 on Tuesday if you have chosen the 24-hour option, or until the same time on Wednesday if you have chosen the 48-hour option.

Please note that the general bus operating hours are from 9:00 to 22:00 from March to October, and from 9:30 to 20:30 from November to February.

You will travel in an air-conditioned double-decker convertible bus, equipped with all the comforts and safety features to give you the best tourist experience, with two extensive routes at your disposal, whichever ticket you choose.

Depending on the option you choose, you will be able to do a one or two-day tour. On Route 1, you will have the opportunity to stroll through the area known as Historic Madrid, where you will find:

  • Puerta de Alcalá
  • Gran Vía
  • Plaza de España
  • Plaza de Colón
  • Debod Temple
  • Puerta de Toledo
  • Reina Sofía Museum
  • Botanical Gardens

These destinations are located in the historic centre of Madrid, where you can appreciate several of the most legendary architectural and artistic wonders of the area, such as the Plaza de Cibeles, whose fountain is one of the most representative symbols of the city.

If you choose to travel along Route 2 of Modern Madrid, you will see essential places such as:
