Step by Step

Do a small section of the Camino de Santiago thanks to this half-day route departing from Oviedo. It will be a guided tour where you will be accompanied by a tour guide for about 5 hours.

Departing from the Asturian capital, you will learn about the entire Way, as well as the relationship of the Cathedral of San Salvador de Oviedo with the Camino de Santiago. Along with this history, you will also learn about the history of the city itself, as well as its importance over the years.

Along the route, you will walk along Monte Naranco, the closest mountain to Oviedo. Along the way, you'll get a full, panoramic view of the capital as you climb to the top in small groups of about 8 people.

At the top, an emblematic monument awaits you, the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús (Sacred Heart of Jesus). It consists of a 30-metre high statue of Jesus with his arms outstretched. Once the route is finished and you have seen what it can be like to walk the Camino de Santiago, the return to Oviedo will be very easy. The return journey is included in the route and consists of a taxi to Oviedo.
