Step by Step

This exciting day trip from Santiago de Compostela will take you to discover two beautiful places on the Galician coastline: the Costa de Morte and Cape Finisterre . You'll start your adventure from a central point in Santiago de Compostela, where you'll meet your expert guide .

On board a comfortable air-conditioned bus with other travellers, you will travel along the Atlantic coast of Galicia, enjoying incredible landscapes.

Your first stop will be to see the Roman bridge of Ponte Maceira. Here your guide will tell you the history and legends about this small medieval village while you enjoy the beautiful views. On your way along the Costa da Morte to Cape Finisterre, you will also visit other places of interest such as the Sanctuary of Virxe da Barca, a very important place for pilgrims arriving to Santiago. From this parish church you will be able to see the whole ocean and also learn the stories and legends about the Way of St. James .

Along this route, you will also have the opportunity to visit the sanctuary of Muxía until you reach the village of Finisterre, where you can stop for lunch on your own in one of the local restaurants.

After lunch, you will continue the tour to see the beautiful waterfall in the village of Ézaro and the Hórreo de Carnota. After visiting one of the largest hórreos in the world, you will enjoy the journey back to Santiago. On the way back along the famous and legendary Costa da Morte, you will enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the Ría de Muros.
