On this walking tour through a multitude of Fallas monuments and sculptures you will discover thanks to your guide the importance of this tradition called "Las Fallas". On this route you will walk through all the most important squares of the city and you will get to know some of the most important "planted" fallas. From the ninots, better known as the children's fallas, to artistic and ephemeral works of great dimensions up to 3 metres high.
With this Fallas route you will enjoy to the fullest this festival that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . With your group and your guide you will visit the Barrio del Carmen, the heart of Valencia. Throughout this traditional quarter of the old town you will discover a multitude of fallas of different sizes, some larger, some smaller. In the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, one of the most important and central squares in Valencia, you will see the main and most important fallas of the city, with different displays of giant puppets, competitions, parades and pyrotechnics.
As you walk through the historic centre, where the largest number of fallas are concentrated, you will learn from your guide about the history of Las Fallas and why it is celebrated. You will also pass by other emblematic places such as the Serrano Towers, the Central Market and the Plaza de la Virgen, where the offering to the Virgen de los Desamparados takes place. For two days the falleros and falleras make a small pilgrimage with flowers to pay homage to the patron saint of Valencia. You will see how the flowers carried by the falleros and falleras make up the Virgin's mantle until it is completed.
