Step by Step
This 2-day safari in Mikumi National Park from Dar es Salaam will take you on an authentic African bush adventure. You will spend one night in a camp inside the Mikumi Park. A local guide will explain everything you need to know about the animals and about survival in the wild. The safari includes transfers to and from your hotel in Dar es Salaam, one breakfast, two lunches and one dinner.
You will depart from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and head to the park. During the safari, you will see animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras and many more in their natural habitat. The busiest periods for these animals are very early in the morning, at sunrise, sunset and in the evening.
On the first day, you will arrive at the park and start your safari after lunch. You will get into the nature of the park as you drive through the savannah and get to know the different ecosystems. Along the way, you can stop to take pictures and enjoy the African landscape and animals.
After an exciting day on safari, you will spend the night in a camp inside the park. You will be able to relax and enjoy the tranquillity of nature at night as you prepare for another day of adventure.
On the second day, you will wake up early to make the most of your time. You will continue to meet the wildlife and enjoy the animals. Afterwards, you will have lunch at a restaurant outside the park and in the afternoon you will return to your hotel in Dar es Salaam with unforgettable memories of your experience in Mikumi National Park.
