This is a small-group experience lasting around nine hours and a local guide will be on hand to explain everything you'll see on this comprehensive tour. A walk through Glen Affric is one of the best ways to relax in this remote valley about 20 kilometres from Loch Ness. It is regarded as one of the most unspoilt in Scotland and is renowned for its historical and cultural heritage, with numerous archaeological sites. There are also a number of historic buildings, such as the beautiful Guisachan House, once home to the Golden Retriever dog breed.

If you're looking for some recent history on this tour, you'll find it with access to Culloden Museum. It is best known as the site of the Battle of Culloden, which took place on 16 April 1746.

It was the final engagement of the Jacobite rising of 1745, in which the Jacobite army forces were defeated by government forces. It now houses the Battlefield and Museum to commemorate these bloody events.

Another destination on this tour is Clava Cairns, a prehistoric site with a group of well-preserved Bronze Age burial mounds. It is also known for its alignment with the sun and moon, and is believed to have been an important astronomical observatory in prehistoric times.
