Step by Step

Don't miss the opportunity to visit Stonehenge while in London and experience the mystery of its megalithic monuments. On this approximately 6.5 hour tour, you can take a return coach from London to the complex in Salisbury.

Travel in comfort on a luxury, air-conditioned coach with free wifi for the 130km route to your destination. All at your own pace, avoiding the hustle and bustle of organised groups. You'll also have the option of selecting a menu tour to sample local dishes.

More than a million people come here every year. A place of sun worship, the Stonehenge megaliths were erected between the end of the Neolithic and the beginning of the Bronze Age. The earliest monument of this complex dates back to 3100 BC.

On arrival at the Visitor Centre you can activate your audio guide and begin to enjoy this experience at your own pace. For some years now, in order to preserve this historic monument, access to the interior of the circle has not been permitted as a general rule, and the stones may not be touched. However, access is allowed on the summer and winter solstices, as these were the most important days in the solar rituals celebrated at this monument.

I would definitely repeat this trip, although I would like to live the experience with a tour guide, to better understand the history of the place.

A journey to the remains of an ancient civilization, I felt as if I had taken a 5000 year leap into the past.
