Step by Step

Tour Georgia's most stunning legendary mansions on this private tour of Atlanta's historic homes, an exclusive experience for you and your group.

You'll stroll through neighbourhoods like Buckhead, where you'll be amazed by massive luxury homes, shopping malls, restaurants and designer boutiques of the most prestigious brands.

You'll see the Governor's House, a 2,000-square-metre structure that serves as the official residence of the region's current governor.

The idyllic tour of mansions and luxury homes becomes more historic when you visit the Grant Park area, known as Atlanta's oldest, founded in the 1800s. Today, this prestigious neighbourhood retains the architectural essence of its Victorian-style facades, which you can photograph for an unforgettable souvenir.

In the same district is the great LP Mansion, an essential stop in the area as it is the most emblematic house in Georgia, the epicentre of its growth over time.

Built in 1856, this place reflects the evolution of Atlanta, its past and present, which is due in large part to the contributions of its owner, Lemuel P. Grant. This engineer and philanthropist was instrumental in the development of what is now known as Grant Park.

You'll have the opportunity to eat a delicious traditional lunch at the Swan House Coach restaurant (not included in the tour price), and you'll get a view of Atlanta's classic Swan House mansion from the outside.

As you stroll through the Ansley Park neighbourhood, you 'll feel the calm and contemplate Atlanta' s characteristic beauty in a place surrounded by greenery and grand mansions.

These spaces are ideal for a different kind of walk than what you'd experience in the busy, bustling downtown area.

Another must-see is the former home of Atlanta-born writer and journalist Margaret Mitchell, author of the novel Gone with the Wind.

The book achieved worldwide popularity thanks to its film adaptation, with the classic directed by Victor Fleming winning the Oscar for Best Picture in 1940.

The artistic nuance, also prevalent throughout the Atlanta region, can be felt as you explore the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, where you'll enjoy a wide and varied display of community art galleries, musical concerts and other related events that, depending on the timing of your visit, you may be able to attend.

I am an architect and seeing so many mansions helps me to be inspired for my next works. Especially the governor's house which has a Greek finish that I had never seen before and I loved it.

I loved stopping by the swan house. The Inman family has always been known for their giant mansion and seeing it up close was a great moment. I am a cotton merchant and have always taken them as a reference for my profession.

We stopped at Swan Coach House for lunch and I felt like a millionaire. What a luxury to eat there, good food, excellent view and an outstanding service.
