The private tour, exclusive to you and your group, begins with an approximately two and a half hour ferry transfer from Darwin Harbour to Bathurst Island.
Along the way, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and coastline, and perhaps even spot a dolphin or whale. Near the mainland, you'll see the lush tropical vegetation and white sandy beaches of the area.

You will also have the opportunity to see how the tribal women hand weave and paint beautiful artwork, two of the most iconic artistic skills of the Tiwi culture.
You'll get a taste of daily life here by learning about their customs and flavours. You will taste the traditional "Billy Tea" and the unique local "damper bread".
The tour also includes lunch and a visit to the Early Mission Compound, where you will see the unique tiwi-style Catholic church, built of wood and coconut palm.
Another must-see stop you'll enjoy is the Tiwi Museum, which displays incredible artefacts and artefacts, such as baskets made from natural materials, hunting tools, personal ornaments, hand-carved wooden sculptures and traditional paintings.
