It is not a good idea to buy Los Angeles sightseeing cards when the attractions included do not match your main tourist interests. And, if most of the places and activities you want to visit are not incorporated in any of the passes, you will not take advantage of the discounts and you will pay for a card that you will not fully utilize.

For example, if you are interested in activities such as the best helicopter tours in Los Angeles, pub tours or a trip to Yosemite and Glacier Point from Los Angeles that are not covered by the All Inclusive Pass or the Explorer Pass. So, tour cards might not be the best option for you.

Check if the attractions require reservations

Before visiting the attractions offered on your tourist card, check if they require reservations. Although it is not always necessary, some destinations are very crowded and this is a must. Especially if you go to Los Angeles in the summer, when the tourist influx is usually higher.

Use the app of your tourist pass

Once you purchase your Los Angeles tourist card, you can access the official app and, thus, check all the information related to the respective pass. Make sure you know which are all the attractions offered, their opening and closing hours, exact address, distance between the different destinations, access routes, etc.
