Step by Step

This approximately 2-hour walk is designed to introduce you to the more relaxed side of Los Angeles. This is not a metropolis like any other, it is like an agglomeration of so many different realities that it is nicknamed Tinsel Town, literally "tinfoil town".

An expert guide and his dog will accompany you through the city. It is not designed for small groups, but in any case, the maximum number of participants is 50. This activity is highly recommended and has excellent reviews.

The first stage is usually the Hollywood Walk of Fame, two kilometres of pavement with the commemorative plaques of the most famous stars of American show business: Quentin Tarantino, John Travolta, Michael Jackson, Jackie Chan and many more. It owes its birth to the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, which in the 1950s decided to honour the artists of the entertainment industry.

Just a few metres away are two must-see venues: the Dolby Theatre (where Oscar Night is held) and the TCL Chinese Theatre. You'll recognise it by the typical Chinese architecture with dragons and two Ming dogs guarding the entrance. It opened in 1927 and has hosted an incredible number of film premieres.

After passing through the busiest part of town, there's nothing better than a walk through a 65-hectare nature area: Runyon Canyon Park. The elevated location gives you a beautiful view of the metropolis. Not only will you see the skyline, but with a bit of luck you'll meet the celebrities who often train in this area of Los Angeles.

From here you can see the most iconic symbol of the city in the distance: the Hollywood sign. Its letters are 14 metres tall and are located in Griffith Park, which also houses the Griffith Observatory.
