Experience Highlights

The bus tour lasts about 4 hours and is the perfect way to get to know Miami, as you'll be accompanied by a local guide along the way. One of the most iconic points of interest is the southern part of Miami Beach, famous for its Art Deco district. In the late 1920s, the area became a luxury tourist destination thanks to the construction of Art Deco hotels and buildings.

The route also passes through Wynwood Walls, a pedestrianised area with hundreds of murals. It is the heart of the neighbourhood of the same name, which is also home to art galleries and artists' studios. Another must is Little Havana. Here you can breathe in Miami's Caribbean flair, especially along Calle Ocho. It is also known for Memorial Boulevard, Domino Park, the Tower Theatre and the many Cuban restaurants.

  • A local guide will tell you the history of all the attractions.
  • You will visit iconic areas such as the Art Deco District and the Wynwood Walls open-air museum.
  • Have the opportunity to sample Cuban cuisine in Little Havana.

Step by Step

This bus tour lasts about 4 hours and passes through Miami Beach and Little Havana. The route includes a local guide who will explain the history of the places you will see along the way.

You will pass through the Art Deco District, the area of South Beach with the highest concentration of Art Deco buildings. The most famous are along Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue: The Carlyle Hotel, Villa Casa Casuarina (once owned by Gianni Versace), Essex House (one of architect Henry Hohauser's best designs) and the Park Central Hotel, once a favourite destination for Hollywood stars.

A short bus ride away is Wynwood, Miami's trendiest neighbourhood. It is a former industrial area that has been completely transformed by Primary Flight, an association that aims to revitalise run-down areas through street art.

The Wynwood Art District is the world's largest open-air museum and a place full of energy and colour. It's impossible to pinpoint a specific work, the walls are constantly changing due to the constant influx of street artists.

You will also see Little Havana, the Cuban heart of Miami. Since the 1950s, the community from the Caribbean country has been concentrated in what is now known as Calle Ocho. As well as being the heart of the neighbourhood, it is home to the Calle Ocho Walk of Fame, the Latin version of Hollywood's Walk of Stars.

Here you can sample the specialities of Cuban cuisine: stuffed tostones, ropa vieja, roast suckling pig, prawns in Creole sauce or the famous Cuban sandwich. The stop is long enough to explore Little Havana and have a leisurely lunch. Once you've finished, the bus will escort you to the Bayside Marketplace shopping centre.

We had very little time to spend in Miami and this tour was excellent as it gave us a good sample of everything there is to see.
